Allyn W. Bio

Allyn calls New York City home, but loves to travel and learn about people and places. Recently returned from working with high schoolers and educators in Cambodia as a Peace Corps Volunteer, she has been an educator since 2012, working with students from all over the world to become more confident and empowered individuals and English speakers. She has a degree from the College of Charleston in Anthropology, received her teaching certification through the Literacy Assistance Center in NYC, and received her BEST Plus assessment certification through the Center for Applied Linguistics. Outside of teaching, Allyn enjoys reading and cooking, and spending as much time outdoors as possible.
