Born in Brighton in the south of England, I finished secondary school to which I then attended college. After completing my AS and A Levels, I then attended the University of Sussex. During my time there, I found a great passion for travelling to which I visited multiple countries across Europe. Post graduating, I decided to turn my attention to ESL tutoring to which I underwent a TEFL/TESOL qualification. Not long after, I picked up my first ESL tutoring job in Madrid Spain. There I worked in multiple schools tutoring children and adults in bilingual and non-bilingual schools across the capital. After completing my year abroad, I then not long after began working for a company called ELS Sussex, where I taught pre-intermediate as well as upper-intermediate and the Cambridge First Certificate. We also covered the IELTS Academic exam preparation as well as offering private tuition for students wanting extra curriculum.
Outside of working, I'm a big football (soccer) fanatic. During my time travelling and living abroad, I've visited various football stadiums to watch matches. The Bernabeu, Camp Nou, the Emirates Stadium and the Red Bull Arena in New York are just a few that I've been to. I also play two or three times a week myself to maintain a decent level of fitness. Away from football, I'm also a drummer! I've been playing ever since I was about thirteen and I also can speak a little Spanish which I picked up from my time living abroad.
